Statement on MNA's Federal Labor Charge at Ironwood

September 24, 2025

Aspirus Health has consistently bargained in good faith. As always, our aim is to achieve an agreement that meets our threefold commitment to our patients, to all our team members, and to the communities we serve.

We have proposed to the Michigan Nurses Association (MNA) a bargaining session for this coming Friday, September 26. While we wait for a response from MNA, we encourage the union to continue the discussion to find a mutually agreeable arrangement, rather than focus on meritless labor practice charges.

Aspirus is striving to keep care in the U.P., while facing the many external pressures being felt by all rural healthcare providers around the country.
