We believe the Michigan Nurses Association (MNA) rally at Iron River is unwarranted as we have not yet met for our first bargaining session. We would like to maintain our consistent practice of negotiating at the bargaining table.
We are committed to bargaining in good faith and expect the upcoming negotiations to conclude with a mutually agreeable arrangement that aligns with our threefold obligation– to our patients, to all our team members, and to the communities we serve.
The rally is not on the Aspirus Iron River premises and will not interfere with patient care. We reassure patients and staff that they will receive high-quality care and can safely enter and exit our facilities as needed.
